Smoky Mountain Geek Expo is Waynesville, NC’s first comic and geek convention. Our 2023 event will be at the Smoky Mountain Event Center on October 21. A wide variety of artists and vendors, comics, toys, video games, original artwork, collectible card gaming, anime, etc. Cosplay contests and gaming areas have been added this year! Whatever makes your geek heart pump blood!

Tickets can be purchased at the door. $5 for adults, 12 and under are free. Bring 2 can goods or a bag of Halloween candy and get in FREE!

Event times are 10 AM until 5 PM. Food will be onsite provided by Vally Dog and Hit the Pit BBQ

A “Secret Cosplay Contest” will be happening between 1pm and 2pm. To participate, sign up at the ticket/registration table. Stay in costume and character (If you want) and walk around the expo. There will be judges watching you! But who are the judges? It could be the Stormtrooper on your left or the vendor behind you. No one knows! Winners will be announced at 2pm. Dressing up in your favorite superhero or fandom is highly recommended!
